The Mentorship Network facilitates structured mentor-mentee relationships within your organization, pairing experienced veterans with academy prospects or new signings.

Overview​

A strong mentorship program accelerates player development and improves organizational culture. The Mentorship dashboard allows staff to:

  • Establish formal mentorship pairings.
  • Define specific goals and focus areas for each pairing.
  • Track the duration and status of active mentorships.

Creating a Mentorship​

To establish a new pairing:

  1. Navigate to the Mentorship Network dashboard and click New Pairing.
  2. Select the Mentor (typically a senior or experienced player).
  3. Select the Mentee (typically a younger player or new arrival).
  4. Define the Focus Area (e.g., Tactical Development, Leadership, Life Skills, Financial Literacy).
  5. Add any additional notes regarding the goals of the pairing.

Once established, the pairing is tracked on the dashboard. Staff can monitor the relationship and eventually mark the pairing as "Completed" once the initial goals have been achieved.

Impact on Player 360​

Active mentorships are surfaced on the Player 360 profiles of both the Mentor and the Mentee, providing staff with a holistic view of the athlete's support network and developmental progress.
